2 cute little snow bunnies keeping each other warm in a cold winter night.

Painted on a cute 5" x 5" canvas with 1.25" thick sides. The image wraps around the sides (see 3rd photo).

I varnished the painting with satin varnish for protection and colour enhancing.

About myself: My name is Nicole, I was born in Germany and I immigrated to Australia in 1997 together with my husband and our 2 cats. I started painting at a very early age and my favourite models have always been animals, in particular cats, as I grew up with them and I just love their delicate beautiful little faces.

I love the naïve style where you can paint your dreams and get lost in your imagination. But sometimes I also like to paint realistic and catch the personality of a particular animal.

I also love children’s books, collecting handmade toys, reading, travelling and spending time with our 2 little feline housemates that moved in with us from the shelter about 2 years ago.

Animal welfare has always been very important to me and you will find many of my paintings in private homes in Australia and Germany. These paintings are auctioned at special events for animal welfare and mostly feature moon bears (for the bear rescue) and of course my beloved cats.

Acrylics are my favourite paints, as I like the vibrant colours, but I also do charcoal and crayon drawings. I love experimenting with different mediums and to try out new techniques. I only use high quality acrylic paints and protect all my paintings with a Satin Varnish, which enhances the beautiful colours.
