Great old chest hand-crank drill, measuring 16". Manufactured by Goodell Pratt Company Toolsmiths of Greenfield, Mass., it was patented March 31, 1896. Handle is oak. The drill bit holder (on the end) is also marked Goodell Pratt, patent August 13, 1899 (think it's a 9 but hard to make out). I don't know anything about tools, but hopefully the photos will answer any questions.

Condition is very good, which includes the painted surfaces.
