Major League Baseball 2K5 is a completely revamped follow-up to ESPN MLB 2K4 and features an all-new Maximum Fielding feature, On-Command Baserunning abilities with an active picture in picture display, quick select controls, and a plethora of rules and slide options. Indulge in true MLB atmosphere with a brand new graphics engine that brings stadiums, player models, animations, weather effects, and cutscenes to life with increased detail, and listen to an exclusive ESPN presentation system that supports expert commentary from Jon Miller, Joe Morgan, and Karl Ravech. Other new features include reanimated diving catches, improved batter interface, and additional camera angles.

Special Features
Online play is a major factor in ESPN MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL 2K5. As many as 30 players can participate in an online league, playing as many as 40 games. To keep them private, leagues can also be password protected so only certain players may join. Exhibition matches, roster-updates, team statistics, league rankings, leader boards, and friends lists are also available.
