You're bidding on a vintage antique wind up train from Marx.

This set consists of a wind-up engine complete with original key as well as 4 cars and track.

The first car is a black coal tender with New York Central written on the side. It is metal with plastic wheels. It's in pretty good shape with some slight surface scratches and negligible rust. A few of the corners are bent slightly.

The second car is a red and yellow coal car labeled Northern Pacific and General Coal Company Number 554. This car is also metal with plastic wheels. The car is slightly dented on one side and has some rust around the axle holes.

The third car is a brown coal car labeled Pennsylvania 738701. Like the others it is metal with plastic wheels. There is a patch of rust inside of the car, along with some slight surface rust near the wheels.

The last car is a red caboose labeled New Yor Central Lines 556. This car has the most rust on it of the set, with a patch near the windows on both sides. The patch is visible in the picture.

The locomotive has a windup engine and comes with the original wind up key. It is completely metal with very little dirt or rust. It is stamped Marx under the rear hitch.

Finally there are 12 pieces of metal track. They have some string on them that was used to hold them together and have some corrosion from age.

This is a great set for any antique train collector!
