This is a vintage 12 inch Madame Alexander Muffin toddler doll all dressed up in her plaid taffeta Christmas dress and hoping for a new home with an adoring little girl.  She was created in the 1980's and has been in an adult collectors home.  I doubt seriously that this doll was ever displayed but rather stored in her original box with acid free tissue paper to protect her from any discoloration or staining.  

Little Muffin is an all vinyl doll modeled after a toddler with jointed neck, arms, and legs.  She has chubby little legs and hands with cute little fingers.  She has a short blond hairstyle, all original, never combed or disturbed, with vibrant red bows on each side of her head.  She has blue sleep eyes, with dark brush lashes, and beautifully blushed cheeks.

Muffin is dressed in a red, green, blue, and gold taffeta dress w/ a white collar trimmed in beautiful little white flower trim and a big blue bow tie.  She also has a white taffeta and tulle half slip trimmed in delicate white lace, and matching pantalets.  She wears white faux suede side button mary jane shoes and white anklet socks.  Little Muffin is just precious and would be a wonderful gift for a little girl or collector alike.  She comes in her original like-new box, her hang tag still affixed to her wrist.  Just a wonderful example of a doll frozen in time.  It's hard to believe she is over 20 years old.
