Compaq Presario V6000 laptop (for parts or repair)

This is a Compaq Presario V6000 widescreen laptop.  I used this laptop for about 2-3 years and never had a single problem
 with it until just recently.  It will not boot or power up and all indications are that it is a video chip issue (known issue)
which is attached to the motherboard so it will most likely need to be replaced.  All other parts are included and in working order
such as:

80 GB Harddrive
1 GB RAM
CD / DVD RW Drive
Cosmetically in great shape

Since I have been issued a laptop at work I have not spent much time trying to repair this but am sure will be a good project
for someone or for parts.
