Badger 20 lb ABC Dry Chemical Fire Extinguisher Model
B20-A4 Multipurpose
This is a used unit which has numerous tiny nicks
& scrapes and is in 'good' to 'very good' condition (but I'm no
expert).
I presume this unit can be recharged (it is presently
empty), but you would need to verify this yourself.
There are no numbers stamped (or cast) into the top of
this one, but there are service stickers on the side.
Please refer to the pictures, your research, and your
own judgement, to determine
if this extinguisher is right for you and your
intended purpose, before placing a bid.
These also make a really nifty captive air tank!
Just add an air fill valve (like a tire valve) right
behind the gauge, and pressurize the empty cylinder.
You can safely add up to 200 PSI of compressed air (if
you can find a compressor that puts out that much).
You might want to add whatever type of adapter you'll
need to the end of the hose.
However, they work just fine, as is, for blowing
things off.
They take up less space than a conventional compressed
air tank because they stand vertically,
and are very easy to pick up, without having to bend
over, every time you use it.
It is 24" tall and 7" in diameter.
It weighs about 9lbs 4oz.
It is aluminum, so it is lighter than most compressed
air tanks, which are steel.
And, aluminum does not rust, so you don't have to
contend with that.
It has a ring to hang it with, but no wall mount is
included.
