Prize winning sea life top stitch Afghan –NEW  Christmas Gift

            The sea life afghan measures approximately 45 X 56 inches.   The afghan is done in afghan stitch with top stitching.   The blue ‘sea’ background is done with variegated yarn.   The center panel has waves at the top and bottom, with fish and star fish in the center.    The two side panels each have 2 blue crabs and 2 sea horses on them.    This afghan won a second prize ribbon (see photo) in the 2009 Maryland State Fair.  I have been crocheting for over 40 years and win many ribbons in the State Fair every year.  I simply cannot keep all of the afghans I make.   This would make a great Christmas gift.
