Couldn't be any easier.
Has a paper saver feature....will use only the amount of paper necessary....if all that needs to be copied is a business card (for example) it will use only that amount of paper.
Can copy pages from books , etc., due to the removable top cover.

The removable top cover has 2 slide catches (one on each end) that slide open to remove the top cover to scan/copy large objects. One of these slide catches is broken, but has NO EFFECT on the operation of the unit what-so-ever!!! Has been broken for years, without any ill effect.

Great to have a copy machine at home!
