This rare POGO pinback button is © 1972 Walt Kelly. Promotional button for the POGO comic strip running in the New York newspaper, Newsday. Button manufacturer on edge of button. It measures 2 ½” in diameter and is in Excellent+ condition. The catch phrase, "Try it, you'll like it" was first used in a 1971 Alka-Seltzer TV commercial & this popular phrase continued to be used throughout the 1970s.
