COLUMBIA JAZZ FESTIVAL –
Columbia JS-1 Laminated Gatefold –
Rare 6-eye Sampler

One of the hottest Jazz Samplers I have ever seen, this edition from Columbia contains some of the very finest jazz being played anywhere in the world at the time.

Selections include EL GATO from Duke Ellington, FESTIVE MINOR by Gerry Mulligan, SATIN DOLL from Lionel Hampton, LISA from Teddy Wilson, IT AIN’T NECESSARILY SO by Miles Davis, THINGS AIN’T WHAT THEY USED TO BE by Brubeck, and HELLO YOUNG LOVERS by JJ Johnson, among others.

An extraordinary collection, here in its original edition: Laminated gatefold cover without major fault; 6-eye platter within should play VG+.

For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
