FIRST EDITION OF ONE OF THE EARLIEST, MOST SOUGHT AFTER MEXICAN GASTRONOMIC IMPRINTS.

The importance is in the description of products and the uses of foodstuffs. The first edition was 3,000 and was re-edited in 1872 under the title: "Nuevo Cocinero Mejicano en forma de diccionario". There were nine editions, each augmented over its predecessor from 1831-1891.
