 Tales of the Texas Rangers were straight-forward adventure stories concerning the exploits of one of America's most famous law enforcement agencies. This show was, in effect, a survey of the Rangers' activities over its 120-year history. Although Rangers Jace Pearson and Clay Morgan were regulars, they appeared in a different setting each week ranging from the Old West of the 1830's to modern-day Texas, using crime-detection methods appropriate to each era.

This rare DVD collection also includes a bonus, "The Texas Rangers" movie from 1936 starring Fred MacMurray, Jackie Oakie and Lloyd Nolan.
