INCREDIBLE HULK 1 CGC 9.0 SA OW/W **very slight resto**

Here is a true Silver Age prize. Well-known as a very difficult early Marvel to find in high-grade, Hulk #1 in 9.0 is a real treasure. Very few unrestored copies exist -- only five unrestored copies grade higher than this beauty. The temptation to touch up this notoriously difficult dark cover proved irrestible to many collectors in past decades, and in many cases, like here, the work was quite limited.

The restoration is only "small amount of color touch on cover". The top and right edges are trimmed as well, but the look of the book is not diminished. The classic Kirby cover still shines.

The only other recorded sale of a 9.0 SA is from three years when it sold for $7200. Despite the passage of time and amazing rise in value of these great Silver Age Marvels, I'm not asking much more than that.

Items shipped within the US may be insured for up to $25,000, though after $2500 it's cheaper to use registered mail, which is required beyond $5000. International shipments may only be insured up to $2500, though we regret there are a number of countries for which insurance is not available, such as Mexico, which is why we do not ship there (sorry!).
