This camera is currently not working properly.  It powers on, but has some fine sand in the lens area that I can't seem to get out.  When it powers on, the lens trys to come out, but can't, so it shuts itself back off.  I have taken it apart and blown compressed air in the lens gears, but it still won't come out.  I never dropped this thing in the dirt, or mud, but had noticed some sand in the case and thats probably where it came from.  Kodak said they would repair it for $50, but I would have to pay the shipping.  I already have a different one, so I don't need this one reapaired.  Sold as is.
