Jimmy Carter SIGNED "Our Endangered
Values"(Easton Press, 2005)Limited Edition
FlatSigned
by Jimmy Carter, the 39th President of the United States from 1977 to 1981 and
was the recipient of the 2002 Nobel Peace Prize, the only U.S. President to have
received the Prize after leaving office! "The debates in America over issues
such as abortion, the death penalty, women's rights, civil liberties, social
justice, and terrorism are divisive and full of rancor. Always upholding the
principles of free speech and diversity, Carter writes frankly about his
positions on these topics and about how his born-again faith has informed
them--remaining, in both religion and politics, a keeper of the faith." A
fantastic collector's item!
Book is
beautifully bound in black leather with all edge gilt text block, decorative
gilt on boards, a permanent satin bookmark, a certificate of
authenticity, brown moire end pages and a hubbed spine. Author has
signed the book on the limited edition page. Book is in NEAR FINE condition and is square and tightly bound with clean, crisp pages inside. No bumping to corners or edges of the boards. No signs of rubbing. Couple of very tiny blemishes in the edges of the text block. No discernible age toning on the pages. Casual perusal reveals no apparent inscriptions, stray marks or missing pages. Make this incredible book a part of your collection today!
FlatSigned means HAND SIGNED on the
page by the author, not personalized (as in "To Billy") or signed on an attached
sticker or bookplate. A book which has been FlatSigned is almost always a better
investment and is far more desirable than a book that is personalized or
contains a signed sticker/bookplate.
