Brand: Nordmende Globetraveler

This is an old Globetravel "Super" shortwave radio by Nordmende. I don't know how old it is, my guess is from the 1960's but I could be wrong. All its original paperwork is included and I took photos of that as well as a packet of never opened parts. There appears to be a fuse in the bag as well as a 220 converter. The bag is sealed so I didn't want to open it but I took close-up photos for you to see. I don't see anything wrong with the cord or plug but when turned on, there are no lights and nothing seems to work.  I know absolutely nothing about radios so perhaps I have it on the wrong settings or maybe it just doesn't work. It has a place for batteries or it can be plugged it. There's SW, LW, Police, FM & AM. It has a dial for bands too. Feel free to ask us any questions, we'll answer the best we can.
