~ DESCRIPTION ~

Learning Curve’s Thomas Wooden Railway System^® and Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends^® are compatible with BRIO^®, Maxim and other fine wooden railway systems. This item is in its ORIGINAL PACKAGE and in EXCELLENT CONDITION. It appears to be LIGHTLY and LOVINGLY PLAYED WITH having only a few minor wear marks and/or paint chips. We are the original owners of this item having purchased it for our son several years ago. Unfortunately, it was subsequently packed and stored during the course of several moves shortly after he first opened it. It was not unpacked until recently, long after he had out grown the Thomas series. We think you will agree that this is definitely a nice find. This item has been stored in a climate controlled, smoke free environment.

~ PAYMENT & TERMS OF SALE ~

All payments are expected to be made within seven (7) days of the close of the auction. PAYPAL IS OUR METHOD OF PAYMENT and gives you multiple options on their end to complete the purchase transaction. NO OTHER FORM OF PAYMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. We must be contacted within the first three (3) days after the auction ends with your name, address and any additional shipping requirements. This will ensure we both have a simple transaction. If you have a problem with meeting our seven (7) day deadline on payment, please send us a note so we can help resolve your situation. We understand things happen, just keep us posted. Please bid with confidence. If the item turns out not to be exactly what you expected or wanted, please feel free to return it unopened and/or in the same condition as you received it within seven (7) days for a full refund. Buyer pays for the return shipping.

~ SHIPPING & HANDLING ~

UNITED STATES (Domestic): On items offered for sale and shipped to a US Domestic address our primary shipping option is US Postal Service Priority Mail^®. This gets your items to you quickly and easily. All US Postal Service Priority Mail^® packages shipped to a US Domestic address will give you the option to insure for your protection unless the item is very delicate or fragile and we feel we must require insuring (Insurance is Highly Recommended – If uninsured, we cannot accept responsibility for failure to deliver or items damaged by the US Postal Service). If the item weighs more than 13 ounces or the box is large and will warrant a surcharge from the US Postal Service to you, then we will offer US Postal Service Parcel Post^®. US Postal Service Parcel Post^® is the only shipping method that we will REQUIRE insurance paid. Books and videos will always have US Postal Service Media Mail^® as an option.

WORLDWIDE (International): On items weighing less than four (4) pounds offered for sale and shipped to a Worldwide International address our primary choice for cost reasons is US Postal Service First-Class Mail^® International. Unfortunately insurance is not available for this option. If your purchase weighs in excess of four (4) pounds or you just prefer, we offer US Postal Service Priority Mail^® International with insurance included as an option as well. (Disregard the fact that eBay’s Shipping and Handling section states “Insurance - None” under this option.) If you need to make any special shipping arrangements, please contact us so we can make arranges based on your needs. All taxes, duties, tariffs or any other fees associated with the importation of your purchase are the BUYER’S RESPONSIBILITY (You), and will NOT be paid by the SELLER (Us). 

All items will be carefully packed and we try to ship within three (3) days of receipt of payment. If you win multiple items in a seventy-two (72) hour period, please contact us immediately so we can consolidate your shipping and save you some overlapping shipping expense.

Just like most of you, we are discerning, long-time collectors of the very items we offer up for sale in our auction. Through rigorous searches and with much patience we have been able to procure these items over a period of thirty years of collecting. Many of the items we have listed are part of larger collections that are in need of scaling back to a more manageable quantity or multiples of a particular piece that is still of interest to us. With fuel expenses going crazy the US Postal Service has been forced to continue raising their postage rates and the fuel tariff that is pasted on to the consumer. Our shipping expense includes packing materials, secure packing of your item, fuel expense and getting it shipped out to you as soon as possible. However, if you feel there is a problem of any kind, please notify us before you leave neutral or negative feedback so we can try to correct the problem.
