Let me start off by saying, I don't usually sell jewelry. I am selling this wedding ring set for a friend of mine. Because this isn't something I normally sell on Ebay, it is very likely that I will leave out important information that you will want to know...PLEASE do not hesitate to email me with any questions.

This ring set has just been "gone over" by London Gold. They checked to make sure all diamonds were secure and that the ring was in tip top shape. Additionally, an appraisal was done that will be sent along with the ring. It appraised for $2,675.00.

She purchased the single diamond approximately 10 years ago ($2000.00) and the dropguard was purchased in 2004 ($1200.00) I have the receipt for the dropguard).

This is the information regarding the diamonds (on attached appraisal form)...

Marquise solitaire:

.52 carat, F color and SI2 clarity

F = colorless (no tinting)
SI2 = inclusions that are only noticeable to an experienced grader.

Dropguard/wrap:

14 round brilliant cut diamonds totalling .88 ct, G color and I1 average clarity

Total weight = 1.40 ct
Gold weight =  7.1 grams

Ring size is 8
(able to be resized)

Each ring has hallmarks/stamps on the inside (I'm not sure what they mean except for the 14K :o)

Solitaire - 14K A106, 30024, 50
Wrap -      S?S  14K

Condition: Excellent gently used condition... There is minimal wearing to the gold finish and there are no fractures or chips in the diamonds.

Payment Terms

Payment is due within ten (10) days of auction close unless you are bidding on other items. You can send me an email and I will extend the payment due date. At this time, I only accept PayPal. Effective January 15, 2009, Ebay has issued a new policy of "no paper transactions". They own PayPal, I'll let you do the math :o)

Satisfaction

Please read my feedback, most customers feel that my items are much better in person than how I described to them to be on the auction page. I only make refunds for errors in listings, I do not make them due to buyers remorse. I list all obvious flaws - this does not mean I will catch every single pin head size ding on a 150 year old item. This is what I consider "expected". If I say it has a wavy feel to it and you don't know what that means, please email me before bidding. Don't wait until you have received it to say "well, I saw that you said wavy...but, I didn't know what that meant" or "I looked up the maker after I received my spoon and he was in business in 1855, not 1854". Please use your own reference material to determine the age/authenticity. Look it up before you bid, not after you receive the item. I may be getting my information from a different book, or I may have made a typo, or I just plain might be wrong. Errors on my part are never intentional, but they do happen ~ afterall, I am human :) On occasion I add to my descriptions, please check for additions at the bottom of this page before placing  your final bid.

If you do receive an item that you aren't happy with, email me. I don't like to have unhappy customers, only happy ones. Check my feedback, I'm a fair and honest seller. Please give me the chance to fix the problem before you leave a negative feedback. I make my living selling on Ebay and when a customer leaves a negative feedback, that hurts my reputation (and my feelings :-). If I do make an error, I refund shipping costs ~ BOTH ways!

Requests for refunds must be made within 3 days of receiving your purchase and items must be returned within 7 days of notifying me, in their original condition.

U.S. Shipping & Insurance

I ship via the USPS and I DO combine shipping fees. If you win more than one auction, I will take the highest shipping fee and add .75 cents - $1.00 for each additional item...sometimes I can add them for free if it stays under a certain weight. Included in your shipping fee is delivery confirmation & insurance against loss or damage to the item. I insure 95% of my items through an outside source. On the rare occassion that an insurance claim has to be made, this ensures that you get refunded your money quickly and without a lot of hassle. The USPS can be a pain in the rear.  :o)

It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay duty/VAT tax. Please do not ask me to fudge on the custom's forms.

I ship international items via the U.S. Postal Service first class mail. This does not include insurance or tracking which means I will not be responsible for a package if it gets damaged or lost. If you would like insurance, I have to send it International priority mail which can be costly. If you think that you would like your item shipped with insurance, please email me before bidding and I will quote you a price. I will combine the cost of shipping if you win more than one auction... I am very fair on my shipping fees.
