Tunney Dempsey Long Count Fight Ticket Sept. 22, 1927
 This is an original ticket stub from the Tunney-Dempsey boxing match at Soldier Field held on Sept. 22, 1927, aka The Long Count. Unfortunately, it came apart where it had been folded for all these years. Maybe someone will want to own a piece of boxing history in spite of it's imperfections. Please see my other auctions. A note about shipping:

I double-box all breakables and DO NOT economize on packing materials, hence, if my shipping costs seem higher than average, it is because I want your item to reach you in the same condition as when it was packed. If the package is lightweight and small, I normally ship via USPS. If it is heavy and large, UPS is usually the cheapest shipping method. I quote my USPS shipments as parcel post but very often it is just as economical to ship First Class or Priority. I make that determination at the Post Office.

  • I accept Paypal but can only ship to confirmed addresses. No exceptions, sorry.
  • Successful bidder pays $3.00 USPS shipping. Insurance required for items more than $25.00.

    A: The back of the ticket is embossed and has a nice sheen. It is NOT a smooth surface.
