 Here for you is a beautiful old sterling silver sash buckle.I was told it is quite old (kinda like myself). I didn't need to be told it was sterling- I read that-, but I still didn't find out what the "L" in front of the word "sterling" means. I looked through 20 full pages on ebay trying to find another like this one, but there were none. It is definitely a beautiful piece. I didn't try to polish it because I wasn't sure I have the proper polish or cloth, so I didn't want to take a chance on damaging the piece. I welcome questions, but if you can enlighten me on this beauty, I would certainly appreciate it. Thanks for looking....
