Beaten Silver Coloured Salt Triple Lion Mast & Paw Legs

This is a lovely beaten silver coloured three legged pot.  I'm guessing it was a salt holder but could have other uses.

There are three lion head masts at the top of the legs and lion paws as the bottom.  There would be some age with this item, but I can see no marks on it.
