Remington is America's oldest gunmaker; and the company has a long-standing sponsorship association with NASCAR. In 1997, Remington was the primary sponsor for the #75 Rick Mast Thunderbird. As a special paint scheme, Rick raced this CAMO car featuring the Mossy Oak CAMO product line. This car was very cool! Rick Mast raced this special paint scheme in the NAPA 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on November 16, 1997. It was a huge hit with race fans and remains a huge hit with collectors. It is a hunter's favorite color scheme, all CAMOUFLAGE with a bright orange spoiler! Rick Mast got his Winston Cup start in 1988, driving two races for Baker-Schiff. In 1989, Mast finished sixth in the Daytona 500 in an unsponsored car, his best finish of 13 races started that season for Travis Carter. Mast drove 20 races for three different teams in 1990, finishing 31st in points. In 1991, Mast hooked up with Richard Jackson, an association that would last for six years and 181 races. Mast was consistent during that time, finishing 18th twice in the championship and no worse than 22nd during that time frame. Mast's best season was in 1994, when he won the pole for the inaugural Brickyard 400, finished second by inches to Dale Earnhardt at Rockingham and posted three third-place finishes.
