 Description Shipping and payments
Reverse Hand Carved Lucite Button. This Button is all hand carved and hand painted by me. The size of the button is 2" across and aprox. 3/8" thick. The size of the actual carving is 1 1/2" (38mm Cabachon size).

The Frog is internally carved and painted into clear lucite.

The back of the carving is coated with special paints and set into a Green Color Lucite backing.

The Backing is also hand crafted by me out of a sheet of 1/4" Lucite.

These buttons are all internally carved into the lucite and than the carving is painted, retro of the buttons they carved in the 40's and 50's.

This piece has already been made into a button and can not be made into a pin at this time. I do have plans on making many nice lucite and Bakelite Pins and Brooches along with my buttons in the very near future.

Button Number 64 for 2009

I use a bonding glue to set it into it's setting.
