I owned a Brick and Mortar Antique Store in the 1990's. I have closed my store and have sold on eBay for over 10 years. I have loved and collected antiques for 33+ years, and love finding that item you need to decorate your home and/or add to your collection.

I am a part-time ebayer and am not online all the time. Please know that I will reply to any emailed questions, and always check emails a few hours before the auctions end.

I am not an expert at everything sold, and I do not pretend to be. All items are sold as-is described/photoed. I inspect them when I photo and take pictures of damage found. I inspect again when I list, and attempt to disclose any known flaws or imperfections. If you see something not described, please let me know.

The Description includes the pictures, so please check them out carefully in case there is damage I missed.

Spent a very cold and wet 10 days selling items at the 2009 Covered Bridge Festival in Western Indiana. I love collectors though!!!, as they still came out in droves and I enjoy meeting my customers as much as I enjoy hearing from them on eBay.

Since the weather was "iffy" I decided to save my best items for my eBay Holiday auctions. I know that the holidays seem far away, but I will not sell past the 2nd week of December and I have LOTS of high quality items to sell. I save my best items every year for my Holiday sales.

This week I am selling an eclectic assortment, several wonderful Art Deco Name China pieces, will arrive in plenty of time for Thanksgiving! along with some very unique items, suitable for gift giving. You never know what I might find to sell, so make sure and check out my other auctions.

ITEM DESCRIPTION

This auction is for a very old piece of what has been identified as English Staffordshire in a brown transferware decorated glaze, see picts.  I am not a Staffordshire collector though, so lots of pictures to allow collectors to identify this piece, see picts.   Most of my information comes from the marks on the bottom and a paper hang tag that is attached to the handle, see picts. 

The paper tag reads, "Cyprus Mulberry Cov Staffordshire Transferware Coffee Pot (Davenport?) Damage", see picts.  The bottom has an old mark but you can make out the words, "Cyprus Ironstone" and there is a stamp in the bass that looks like "Davenport" in a circle, see picts. 

This piece is believed to be an antique Victorian pottery coffee/tea pot or a lidded pitcher, see picts.  It shows all the normal wear that you would expect to see, even some wear to the glaze, see picts.

This lidded pitcher/teapot/coffee pot measures approx. 7 1/4 inches tall to the top of the handle, without the lid, see picts.  The lid is missing the handle on the top, and there is a chip on the side, but no other damage found on the lid, see picts.  This lid will add another approx. 2 inches for a total height of approx. 9 inches.  It measures approx. 9 inches long from the handle to the tip of the spout, see picts.   

This coffee pot/teapot/pitcher is being sold in well-used condition.  There is a tight hairline in the bottom, this should NOT be used to store a liquid, see picts.  The tip of the spout is damaged with a missing piece, chip on the coffee pot rim, and a chip and missing handle on the lid, see picts.  Rest of the wear is considered normal in a piece this old, with the wear to the glaze/surface dirt you would expect, see picts. 

This damage/wear does not detract from the great look of this piece.   Where ever you need an antique/primitive display item for your kitchen or cabinet this is a wonderful chance to own a rare, hard to find piece of antique Bennington ware, see picts. 

This hard to find Cyprus Mulberry ironstone would make a GREAT one-of-a-kind GIFT, as it will display wonderfully in any collection.

This auction lot will weigh 5 pound, packed to ship, and will be shipped via UPS which includes insurance. It will be shipped from zip code 47869. The eBay shipping cost estimator does not seem to be working for packages going to the Western United States. I am told that my descriptions are too wordy, and that I describe minimal damage that should be expected in antique items. They are probably right, as this is an antique/vintage item(s) and wears it's age well. Please check the pictures though and make sure that I did not miss any minor flaw that you might notice. Also notice, in the pictures how wonderful this item is.

I normally use UPS Shipping, and zip code on file at ebay. UPS will not ship to a PO Box. Insurance (up to $100) is included in the UPS price. I will combine items, if possible, for shipping. I ship USPS International Priority Mail anywhere outside of the US. I cannot ship International First Class as it does not allow me to insure items and I am now required by eBay to insure all items.
