Publisher's very elegant full black leather, the spine in four compartments separated by raised bands, covers and spine elaborately decorated in gilt, All edges gilt, silk moire endpapers, ribbon marker sewn in.

Condition: Fine. As new and likely unread.

Foreword by Bruce Catton.

The photographic records of the twelve funerals in twelve cities westward were sought out from the archives and historical collections along the actual funeral route, and the full picture of that incredible trip is shown here for the very first time.
