This auction is for a vintage, collectible, Ideal Dog Food, Good-Luck, metal doggy, charm pendant.
This little doggy is made of a metal material. It's tongue is hanging out of it's mouth, on the lower left side. There is a small, round bale, mounted on the back, just behind the head, that is approximately 1/8" wide across in diameter.
The doggy's left side is embossed, with the following :

On the inside, of the ears, and inside, some of the word lettering, there are a few signs, of some light oxidation, beginning to occur.
I am uncertain, about the metal material, the charm is made of, however, the shade of the metal, appears to be, a coppery tinted, silvertone color. Whatever, kind of metal material, it is made of, seems likely, to be a nonferrous type, as it will not attach to a magnet, at all.
On the doggy's right side, where it is embossed with, GOOD-LUCK, just above, the second "O", in the word GOOD, there is a real small, triangular shaped hole, that sure does look like, an original manufacturing flawed imperfection, in which light can be seen through. This little imperfect flaw, seems to be originally from the maker, because there are no jab marks, dents, gouges, dings, or other damages, around it, or near it, anywhere, on the inside, or outside. Plus, there are no indications or signs, anywhere around the hole, of a displaced or missing metal piece, flap, chunk, or plug, that would've previously filled in the gap. The imperfection, can be seen best, in the last photo above, looking inside, from the underside, and downward, towards the white fabric, on the same side, it is laying on, where the white fabric, can clearly be seen through it.
The facial features, such as, the eyes, tongue, nose, and the ears, all, still have great vintage, tactile, texture and detail, with almost no signs, of age related, visible wear. Even the doggy's coat of hair, still maintains, great vintage, tactile, texture and detail, with practically no signs, of age related, visible wear, either.
This little metal, doggy charm pendant is approximately 1-3/16" long, from the tip of the nose, to tip of the tail. It is approximately 15/16" tall, from the bottom of the feet, to the tip of the taller, left ear. Plus, in width, it is about 3/8" across, from the left side, across to the right side.
Except, as noted above, this cute, collectible, Ideal Dog Food, Good-Luck, metal doggy, charm pendant, is in wonderful, pre-owned, vintage condition, and is not bent, broken, or repaired. It also has a nice patina, as it has not been cleaned, but I simply don't know, exactly how old it is, and it would make an ideal addition, to any vintage advertising collection, or vintage doggy collection, with NO RESERVE!!!
