Over the years, this fine Table, 4 Chairs and I have shared
a lot of great and not so great time together. It has seen the glamorous days on
a bravura sun porch surrounded by a magnificent pool and several waterfalls to
the less glamorous days as a conference table in my office, study and finally
back to the good life in the sun. It has survived many meals by both the young
and the old for over 20 + years and have endured them quite well with only a few small battle
scars, a small scratch, on the underside of the Table Top and Minor Nicks and Scratches on some of the other pieces, which you would never notice, if you
didn’t already know that they existed. The Bamboo and Rattan still looks as good as it did
when we 1st got it, but the Cushions Covers need to be
replaced in order to make it look as good as new.
When, John McGuire designed this piece, he design more than
just a piece of furniture, he designed a member of the family.
Just as time past on and all your children go off to school and life moves
on, it’s time, that this member of the family moves on also. I will not
put a Reserve or Buy It Now Price on this, but at the end of the bidding, whom ever the lucky person
is that had won the privilege to spend some time with this McGuire, I hope you will
enjoy it as much as I have.
