Masonic Postcard MASONS LODGE FOR KIDS Hanging The Goat
 

"Im go'in' to make her a MASON too so she can't tell on me"

This humorous vintage postcard, published by the Austen Co., depicts a devilish little 'Mason' boy and his playmate or girlfriend.  The boy is about to cut loose a distressed looking goat who is hanging by a noose around his neck.   The little girl is sitting on the goats back.  One can only imagine how the poor goat found himself in this position!  A sign tacked to the fence reads: 

MASONS LODGE for KIDS ....... Rule 1 ...... A MASON NEVER TELLS.

Signed in the upper left corner:  C Ryan. 

There will be some edge and corner wear.  A chip on the lower right corner.  A small spot of paper loss near the back hoofs of the dangling goat. 

There is no writing and the card has not been mailed.  Overall in good collectible condition! 

Shipping in a rigid sleeve and photo mailer is $1.50.  I am listing more vintage postcards and will combine purchases.
