DescriptionA LIVING ESTATE SALE VINTAGE (1941) EXQUISITE ROYAL DOULTON RARE EARLY EDITION OF "THIS LITTLE PIG", THE VERY SWEET BABY WRAPPED IN A BLANKET WITH ALL TOES SHOWING; THIS FIGURINE IS A LOVELY RARE EARLY EDITION PIECE TO ADD TO YOUR COLLECTION!This stunning figurine is a pleasure to view. The baby has the sweetest look and facial expression. The colors are exceptionally beautiful. This fabulous figurine was designed by Leslie Harradine who designed for Royal Doulton from the 1920's to the late 1950's. This perfect little baby would make a wonderful gift for a much loved friend or family member!This wonderful figurine is from my Aunt's collection. She became a Pan American Stewardess back when the Stewardess' had to be a Registered Nurse, sometime in the 1940's. She was based in New York City. I don't remember when she retired, but she worked for Pan Am her whole career. She is 97 now and recently became unable to take care of herself; she is in a private care facility. We are selling her beautiful pieces and artwork that she brought back from her adventures all over the world to continue paying for her care.This exquisite figurine is in mint condition, free of chips, fleabites, cracks, scratches or crazing. It was displayed in a glass enclosed cabinet for many, many years. I have done nothing to clean it up as I am a super klutz.Overall measurements are: 3 7/8" high x 3 1/8+" across the the front x about 3+" from front to back. Granny and Grandad accept PayPal. Payments must be received within 10 days of Auction close unless you have contacted us and other arrangements have been agreed to.
Shipping
All items are packaged with care using professional packing materials to ensure the safe arrival of your purchase. In the event an insured item is broken in shipping, it will be the buyer's responsibility to contact the shipping entity for reimbursement. You must save all original boxes, packing, etc., for inspection by the shipping entity; all shipping entities require the proof that the item has been properly packaged. As the buyer, you will have that proof. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. Due to the increase in USPS rates, Grandad will determine the best, least expensive way to send an item upon final packaging. Fedex is not an option on Ebay, however, any item under UPS shipping will be sent Fedex. During our time on Ebay, we have found that Fedex gets our items to the customer the quickest and safest of any carrier.
Terms of Sale

While we strive to describe our items accurately, if we all agree we have slipped up and not properly described the item and you are unhappy with your purchase, we will refund your original invoice cost AFTER you have returned the item to us in the condition it was sent to you.
