Bettie Page - Siam Bracelet Teasarama For the Bettigirl

Hello! I'm Elmo E. Elmo III (Guess what the 'E' stands for - my family has no imagination) I have a long successful history on Ebay, using another ID.  I set this one up to sell non-vanilla items. 


Bettie Page - This is IDENTICAL   to the bracelet she wore in the Klaw movie where she was the harem girl.  Sterling Silver - Marked "SIAM" inside - some tarnish from age.  Should clean up fine.  Otherwise excellent!  For a smaller wrist - looks to be about 5 1/2 inches.  Please see the pictures.

REMEASURED - - I got an email from a friend, and I remeasured it a different way - inside with a tape - because of the curvature, it looks just a bit shorter than it really is. Inside it measures closer to SIX INCHES.

Bracelet clips tight.  So size is important.  I assume, if you want to wear it on a larger wrist, $ome modification$ could be made. Clip slides into slot on the other side, and there is a bar on the clip, that you press down on, to unlatch. Actual weight is 3 to 4 ounces. In the face picture, one segment is folded under - I'll try to reshoot, but if you look at it, the last segment on the right is folded under.  It's there.

If you are familiar with the Movie Star News catalog, look up this series - picture 97 is shown, as it gives the best view.  See the movie, also.  If you know about Bettie, you probably already know about this series and movie.

These are very hard to find.  I suspect most of them were discarded as unfashionable in past periods. 

I do not know any history of this item, except that, as I recall, it came from the East Coast.  I do not know if this is the same bracelet Bettie wore. But it's just like it.

I am a collector of Bettie Page memorabilia - primarily props that appear in her pictures and movie. I have quite a few.  I'm selling off the ones with the least heartache involved.  If you are a BETTIGIRL this will set you up for ENVY by the other BETTIGIRLS.  If you know a BETTIGIRL - this as a gift, will make you her HERO.  Or, just put it on the shelf - or even frame it, along with a picture of Bettie wearing it.  Show off to your friends.
