Style: World War II 2 Silk Map  
You are bidding on an authentic 1944 World War II US Army Air Force map.  This map was used to detect ocean currents and surface winds for the West Pacific area for the months May-October 1944.  The date of the map is stated on the bottom left corner of the map.  This was property of my grandfather who was a lead bomber for the United States Air Force during World War II.  The map is in extremely good condition.  No rips or tears. The edges are a little frilled, but it is very minor for a map that went through a war.  The map is very detailed and breaks down each month on seperate parts of the map.  On the top and bottom of the map it says "Restricted." I have tried to take a photo of that as well.  I have several different maps of bombing routes, escape routes, etc and will list them all seperately.
