 Marked on the binoculars is 383 ft per 1000 yards, I am guessing this is how far it makes the image appear. Tasco brand 8X21 zoom, these are nice and compact to be kept in the glove box or ready on your coffee table. The lenses are unscratched. You can adust in to any size width so they are good for any head type. Comes with the nice padded carrying case. Good luck in the auction!!!
