LIMOGES'BUTTER DISH W INSERT PINK RED ROSE+ANTIQUE EST

Here for you is a butter pat platter that was my grandmother's and was given to her for a wedding present in 1894. I have most of these fine China dishes, but was never given the name of them. I have researched these dishes and never found anything that resembled them other than the 'Garland' pattern, but only in green. Hopefully someone will know the pattern and will enjoy having them and more to come. The measurements for this dish is almost 8 inches across the center from one side to the other and has 1 flea bite and 1 small chip. The insert measures approx 4 2/3 inches across from one side to the other. There are no chips on the insert and if there was a lid it was gone before I got them in 1964. Great to have as a replacement dish or you could even use it for flowers in a center piece if so desired.
