These three classics of literature by Robert Louis Stevenson and Paul Creswick are among the most beautiful books ever published. The Easton Press is known for their no expenses barred sumptuous bindings, but these three books take the cake. I've owned many resplendently beautiful books throughout my lifetime, and these are easily some of the best. If I had my way, these books would be a benchmark for all others. Maybe it's just because I love books (and lavish publications in particular) - the wonderful feel and odor of fine leather, the gilding and superb illustrations matched with some of the finest writing of all time. I can't say enough about N. C. Wyeth's truly incredible paintings that compliment the text. He spent years on these masterpieces, and it shows - I have posted a portion of those that are in Stevenson's Kidnapped... and I mean a portion, because there are many more in that one book, never mind the scores that are in the other two volumes. These three classics belong on the shelves of any great private library.

All three volumes are in like new condition with a few minor caveats - there is a tiny (a few millimeters) indent in the center of the cover of The Black Arrow and a couple of spots to the gilt (it may be dust, but I did not want to take the chance of cleaning the area) on the head, as well as a spot on the gilt area of the bodies. I've included photos, but it is very difficult to see. They're very unobtrusive, but I like to make mention of it nonetheless - also... keep in mind that I offer a full money back guarantee if you are not satisfied, but I have no doubt you will be.

These honestly are three of the most wonderful books that I have ever handled!
