ABOUT

This is a stunning photochrome on canvas. Photochrom (aka Photochrome) was a technique developed in Switzerland in the 19th century for colouring black and white photographs, using up to 14 lithograph stones. The end results produce a photograph that look a little like a painting.

The photochrom comes on canvas of the highest museum grade quality (not a paper derivative), producing stunning reproduction detail and colour. Canvases are sized approximately 300mm by 210mm. A larger version at twice the size is also available to purchase from our eBay shop (see below).
