This was given to me by a friend in this exact condition about 20 years ago.  I dont know much about antiques, so forgive me for not being able to describe it better.

From what I can tell it is mid 1900's mission style oak chair.  It has been varnished, but i cannot tell if it is original or not.  It appears to have original seat coverings, and they arent in the greatest shape.  The leather looks fairly worn and aged.  There is a screw missing on the bottom, and there is a piece of wood that is missing..looks like it frames the underside of the cushion.\

Measurements are: 27.5" wide, seat is 18" deep and 22" wide.  It stands 36" tall. The rocker portion is 32 inches from front to back.

A: if you are looking at the underside, there are 4 1x1's that are fastened to the frame, and the seat itself rides on it. one of those 4 pieces are missing. The 1x1 dimension isnt correct, but just to give you an idea.
