Lovely 1970s Inspired Scarf

This is a lovely 15 feet long, 10 inches wide, very chunky, 1970s Sci-Fi inspired scarf. Machine knitted from all new Acrylic, by my own fair hands, in chunky DOUBLE KNIT. Beware of listings that don't specify Double Knit. These will look and feel very thin. Double thickness, to keep the weight as close to Pure Wool as possible. The stitch looks very ridgy, check it out on the pic. The colours are lovely. If you are buying for a fan, this is the scarf for you.

Made in the style of the scarves of the 1970s.

The colours here have come up a bit bright with my camera; they are a bit more subdued in real life. I have taken a few pics in different lighting situations, but can't seem to get it right! Please feel free to ask for a small sample of my colours. I will be more than happy to send you a snipping free of charge, wherever you are.

Each end has a lovely thick fringe.

One of my scarves was featured in a TV show last year. Chris, a good customer of mine, was on a collector's show with his marvellous collection. A Robot Man actually ironed the scarf! Chris was seen coming out of the Blue Police Box wearing it. It looked absolutely wonderful! Unmistakable!

When steamed carefully and evenly, the 1970s style scarf will stretch to an immense and possibly unwearable length! The scarves of the 1970s went from the floor, up and around the neck twice, and back down to the floor. In times of peril, you can always tuck the ends in your pockets.
