This is an awesome piano stool - made by the Boston Piano Stool Company, Lowell, Mass - marked on bottom as #21. I can't make out what it says above the manufactureer's name and didn't want to do anything that might cause any damage to MINT stool. The only defect are a few very minor scratches on the top of the stool - otherwise, it is MINT. Also, very unique in that it has claw metal feet - ball and claw are one piece (didn't see any stools like this when checking around and doing research for my aunt). Swivel height turns free and easy and all joints are tight and solid. I believe it is mahogony - certainly looks it. This may be a real treasure for some one. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
