NEW Grado HF2 HF-2 Headphones BNIB rare RS-1i, SR-325

It really kills me to sell these, but here I am listing with no reserve a pair of Grado HF-2 Head F1 headphones which are still 100% sealed in the factory box.  I took some photos of another pair of identical phones to show some of the features, but this listing is for the 100% factory sealed box shown in the first two images.

A little history:  these are the second run of special edition Grado-made headphones for the head-fi online audio community.  They are an absolute giant killer as they feature much of what is offered in the PS1000 and RS-1i phones at a lower price, most importantly, though, the sound compares favorably or even bests all other Grado offerings including the $1600 PS-1000 current flagship.  There were a total of 524 pairs made (24 from run 1 that say Head-Fi and 500 from run 2 that say Head-F1) and they were only offered to head-fi community members.  Each pair is hand numbered and comes in a box signed by John Grado himself.

These have a leather headband, special aluminium and wood enclosure housing, specially matched drivers, and the new, thicker, grado headphone cable. 

A rare treat that would make an amazing Christmas gift for anyone with a  passion for high fidelity audio.
