These sediment filters are NSF Certified to Standard 42, FDA approved, melt blown polypropylene, surfactant free, binder free, adhesive free and  they have high chemical resistance. The filter has four (4) layers with outside-in flow and step by step micron rating that effectively retains particles and extends the filter life with a much lower pressure drop. Big Blue sediment filters available in 1, 5 micron.
