This auction is for a teapot, cup and saucer with pink roses. I know absolutely nothing about these kinds of things, so please ask any unanswered questions prior to bidding. When I first obtained these, I thought it was a matching set. But after looking at it, I don't think it is. The bottom of the tea pot is marked (in a script writing), "Made in China" and has Chinese structure and symbols. The cup and saucer are also stamped, "Made in China" but in a more block writing. All pieces have pink roses and leaves with gold trim. They are very similar, but upon close inspection, they do not match. I am also pretty sure that it is not the original lid on the teapot. Again, I didn't notice at first, but when I got in a better light, I realized the lid was a whiter white than the pot which has a gray tint to it. There are no breaks, cracks, chips, etc. There are a few small black spots on the teapot. However, when I tried to wash them off, I realized they were manufactured flaws, not later spots.

The Boring Stuff:
Sorry to have to include all the stuff below. We have been scammed, heard every excuse, etc. We constantly have to keep updating the stuff below. Every time we think we're covered, someone comes up with something new. We are honest and up front in the auctions, with shipping costs, etc. Most of the buyers we deal with are great. Unfortunately there are still a few who just don't understand, pretend not to understand and those who just try to take advantage.
Shipping:
We try to ship as soon as possible after payment is received. Priority Shipping is almost always the next business day. Parcel Post and/or Ground shipping may take a day or two. In most cases within 24 - 48 hours.
nbsp; Packages weighing under 5 lbs are usually shipped through USPS; packages over 5 lbs may have an option of USPS or Ground Shipping. Due to the new dimensional size pricing on USPS Priority Mail, lighter weight items that are large in size, will probably have to ship via Ground Shipping.
No ground shipping to P.O. Boxes. I am usually pretty accurate with Ground quotes. However, please realize that pricing is based on size as well as weight and could vary by a dollar or two either way once it is packed. If the auction includes a flat rate quote and the shipping price varies greatly from that rate, I will let you know and work on whatever options we have. If you have received an invoice from me, I have packed the item and the shipping rate is accurate.
NOTE TO WEST and WEST COAST BIDDERS: Please realize shipping IS more costly from Florida, particularly to the West/West Coast. We are up front in our auctions with weight and all shipping costs.
If you have an issue with packages being left at your residence or with using a particular carrier, please check with me and see if we can make other arrangements. However, please realize I can only ship to the confirmed address on paypal. If you address is not confirmed, I cannot ship. I depend on delivery confirmation as proof of delivery.
Shipping other than U.S. Main Land

Alaska and Hawaii bidders only need to contact us if the item is not being shipped through USPS. This allows us to give you the shipping costs ahead of time so that there are no misunderstandings/expectations at auction's end. Unauthorized bids may be canceled.
Local Pick up is Always Welcome!! We are always happy to combine shipping whenever possible for additional savings!! Just let us know at auction end if you are bidding on more than one auction.

Payment within 3 days.
I usually invoice soon after the auction. Occasionally, the next day. Please feel free to pay immediately, even if you haven't received an invoice.

Contact:
Contact MUST be made within 3 days. "Contact" means you send us an e-mail stating when and how you will be paying OR use eBay's Checkout. IF YOU HAVE NOT MADE CONTACT WITHIN 3 DAYS, THE ITEM MAY IMMEDIATELY BE RELISTED OR OFFERED TO THE NEXT BIDDER. If you cannot comply, PLEASE DO NOT BID.
Feedback & Non Paying Bidders:
I no longer send payment reminders. I understand that occasionally the unexpected happens and I will try to work with you. Just be considerate enough to let me know what's going on. However, please realize how many times I have heard that someone is sick, has computer problems, etc. Funny how they are still able to bid on other items, but are too messed up to contact and/or pay me. If I have not heard from you after 7 days, I immediately Report an Unpaid Item. If you still do not pay, I then file the Final Value Fee Refund. Once this is filed, do not ask me to have it removed, etc. You should've paid and I cannot afford to pay fees for items that are not paid for.
When you receive your item, are happy with it and leave feedback, I in turn do the same. If you have a problem, please do not leave feedback without giving me a chance to correct. I usually leave it within 7 days of you leaving it. If you don't leave feedback, I don't.
Returns & "Cover All" Disclaimer:
We sell many kinds of items. Many of the items are old, previously owned, etc. and there is no knowledge of their previous use or care. In most cases, I do not know the surroundings before I acquire the item. Old/used items may have flaws and/or imperfections. We realize that it is sometimes difficult to accurately judge an item from a picture on a computer monitor. For these reasons, please don't assume an item is in mint condition unless we state that in our description. If we see an item is broken, chipped, etc., it is stated in the description. It is possible that we will not see something that someone else considers to be an imperfection. Many times we are only able to power test an item. For these reasons, we urge you to ask any questions to the condition, quality, size, etc. of an item BEFORE bidding. I would rather not sell an item, than to have a problem. We try to make the description as thorough as possible and include pictures for you to make your bidding decisions. I also usually state if I am unfamiliar with an item. If that leaves unanswered questions in your mind, you MUST ask before you bid. We no longer accept returns on any item unless we have grossly misrepresented the condition. Our home is pet and smoke free. However, please do not bid if you are allergic or highly sensitive (for reasons stated above). We allow refunds (of sales price only - no shipping - no exceptions) only if we grossly err in our description. The refund will be issued once the item has been returned.
