In addition to selling vegetable and flower seeds, we at Back 40 Farms also grow vegetable plants in our own greenhouse. With the slumping economy, it has become increasingly difficult for some families to afford even to plant their own gardens. The proceeds from the sale of these seeds will help us to provide free vegetable plants and other gardening materials to families in our area that are either unemployed, or on a limited/fixed income. We want to take the time to thank you in advance for helping us to help others.

We make every effort to keep the highest quality seeds available. Due to the many circumstances that can arise when germinating/planting seeds or bulbs that are outside of our control, we cannot make any guarantees beyond the fact the seeds conform to the label description. It has been our experience that low germination rates are most caused by improper soil temperature. If seeds received from us fail to germinate or the rate of germination is very low, please contact us so we can help. It is our goal to keep each and every customer completely satisfied. 

Shipping & Handling

We keep our shipping & handling charge as low as possible and are happy to combine shipments whenever we can to save our customers money. Seeds are in resealable plastic bags. We ship all seed orders in bubble mailers for protection. Please understand our S&H charge includes the postage and the mailing and packaging materials included with your shipment. This allows us to sell quality vegetable and flower seeds and plants much cheaper than your local gardening center.
