ASUS Eee PC 1005 HA-EU1X-BK 10.1 NETBOOK - NEW

This is an New Asus 1005 HA-EU1X BK PC. The pictures below are of the actual item being sold. This was purchased for my disabled husband, but both the keyboard and screen are too small for him to see or use with his cataracts. The box has been opened for these pictures and the unit placed back in the box with all original factory packing and items.

The unit is new and has never been turned on or booted up for the first time. The Windows XP initial setup will be the first thing that will run on initial power-up. I have one just like it and love it. Small fast and everything one could want PLUS a FANTASTIC PRICE! This netbook is priced to sell (for much less than I paid for it), so my loss is your gain. Why buy a refurb unit, when you can buy a brand new and unused unit for less?

This PC was purchased new from Adorama and has just been sitting in the box. All original documents, including the blank and unfilled in one year warranty card are with the PC. The pictures pretty much tell the tale. The original protective plastic is still on the pc, so some of the light reflections are not defects or such, but just reflections from the lighting off the protective plastic coverings.

This unit has XP with all standard features for this model. XP is the best OS for these EeePC's because Win7 STARTER, a severly crippled and cut-down version of Win 7 (click her for more info) lacks many features, such as multiple monitor support and it is currently the only stock option to the alternative XP OS. Naturally, XP runs better than Win 7 with the limited RAM in the EeePC series.
