This video tells the story of the Sunshine Mine disaster of 1972 via the stories of 27 people who lived through the disaster. The video examines what happened, what went wrong and discusses lessons learned. The Sunshine fire was the driving force behind the creation of the Metal/Nonmetal Health and Safety Act of 1977.
