John Wayne Military Franklin Mint Plate Set 12

Rare opportunity to own a complete set of 12 John Wayne Military Collector plates by Franklin Mint Royal Doulton. Wayne family approved.  Original works of art by Robert Tanenbaum bearing his signature mark. These plates are certified heirloom collector plates and are crafted from fine porcelain and bordered in 24 karat gold. Strictly limited to 45 firing days and originally available only through Franklin mint. Each plate is individually hand numbered.  All plates are in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, chips or repairs. I have 7 of the 12 COA's but do NOT have any boxes.

My apologies in advance for the lengthy details below. No, I am not a lawyer ! LOL 
However, I have dealt with some folks of late who can not seem to understand simple short descriptions written in plain English.

I would like to say thank you to all the wonderful people out there I have met and done business with. Some of you, I still talk to everyday. And to the ones I have yet to meet, a warm welcome come on in. As much as the media would like us to believe we do not care about each other anymore, it simply, on a whole, is not true.
 

General Disclosures

I own a thrift shop. I clean out estates, yard sales and accept donations. Therefore, I have no history available. What exactly does this mean ? It means I do not know if it came from a home with pets, smokers, or any other substance or object, living or dead, organic or man made, that someone may be allergic to or find offensive. Item descriptions containing the following words or any similar words like these: excellent, good, reasonably good, new with or without tags, refers only to, chips, cracks, breaks, scratches, rips, tears, stains, missing buttons, broken zippers, not how it may smell to you or whether it needs to be laundered/dry cleaned, (as should all clothing, linens, bedding and like items in my opinion) dusted, polished or even scrubbed. Everything I sell has been owned by someone, even if it does still have it's store tags, technically it is still pre-owned, whether it was ever used or not, where it was stored and so on, I DO NOT KNOW. Since we are all wonderfully different... Something may smell funky to you that I do not even notice. Likewise, a small scratch to me, may look like the Grand Canyon to you and vice versa. My camera fortunately takes better pics than I can see with my eyes, so you will see and can judge for yourself any damage. If it smells funky to you wash it !!!  
 

Refunds and Returns

Please ask any questions if you have any concerns before bidding, as all sales are final and non refundable/returnable. What does this mean ? It means items are being sold "AS IS" with no refunds or returns, all sales are FINAL. I have described my items to you as well/honestly, as I possibly can. (see general disclosures above)
Please do feel free to politely approach a request for a refund and return, understanding I have the right to refuse. I will carefully consider each circumstance, should they arise.  
 

Shipping

 
Free local pick up, (contact me for business hours available to pick up), or shipping as offered in listing. Shipping includes confirmation of delivery which creates a tracking number. If you would like to track your item, request the number via e-mail and I will send it to you. I do not supply them automatically. I am not trying to make any money on shipping. On the contrary I have been under estimating shipping and paying the difference out of pocket regularly. Please know I do my very best to simply cover the actual costs. Shipping supplies and postage are expensive !!! I take the utmost care in packing your purchases to insure safe delivery. At this time I do not ship outside the US and shipping may be more to Hawaii or Alaska (please get a quote from me before bidding if you are concerned about shipping cost to these states).
 

Taxes

I must charge California State Sales Tax on transactions sold/shipped to California residents, currently it is 7.75%. It is charged on the purchase price only.   

Insurance

I accept no responsibility for lost or damaged merchandise once it leaves my hands, so please purchase the insurance. What does this mean ? If you choose not to purchase the insurance and your item is lost or damaged in shipping, I will not refund any or all of your money or offer any other kind of restitution for the loss or damage. If insurance does not show as available or seems high, please wait for an invoice or request an insurance adjustment. Realize, we must state an insurance amount without knowing what the item will sell for, this makes it difficult to be accurate. If free shipping is offered I pay for the insurance.
 

Combined Shipping

 I will combine shipping on items where I feel it does not compromise safe delivery. Please ask in advance if items can be combined, if this is a purchasing factor to you. Please wait for an invoice on multiple purchases. If you pay without waiting for a combined shipping invoice, a refund will NOT be issued. 
If items you intend to bid on "with combined shipping in mind", expire more than 3 days apart, please let me know, so I do not relist your item(s). (See payments below)
 

Payments and Payment Methods Accepted

I require payment within 3 days of auction end or buy it now or I will relist. What does this mean ? If you do not pay or contact me with a viable explanation (I am understanding and easy to deal with, stuff happens) as to why you have not yet done so, within 3 days, on the 4th day I will relist the item(s), (once I have relisted the item(s) you will also owe the listing fee's as well as the item(s) amount and shipping), on the 7th day I will file an unpaid item dispute in order to get my fee's back.  As per E-bay's rules Pay-Pal is the only payment method offered.

Please contact me before leaving any negative feedback and I will do everything I can to resolve the problem peacefully. What does this mean ? It means I am a reasonable, honest person, that wishes only to supplement my income by offering cool, unique, useful, collectable, etc., items at a fair price. Therefore, conducting honest business with other good honest people. I am always looking at the win win situation !!! The glass is always half full !!!  FYI....4 stars is not a good rating according to e-bay, it is a sub standard service rating, only 5 stars is good, please keep this in mind when checking individual ratings, as we can be charged higher selling fee's and other penalties when we have less than a perfect record. I try really hard to maintain 5 stars always.
 

Mutual General Courtesy, Conduct and Respect 

Lastly, if you do need to contact me about a problem or even to just ask questions about listed items. PLEASE do not be rude, pushy, judgmental or disrespectful. Above all else do not threaten me. I will not treat or speak to you this way and will not tolerate it being done to me. My Grandmother taught me you can catch a lot more bee's with honey than you can with vinegar ! And to do unto others as you would have them do unto you. If you do not agree with any one or all of the policies listed here, that is just fine, feel free to move on and shop elsewhere...
