The Artist Sketch Pencil features a professional quality 5.6mm 4B lead and a top quality "plunger" type lead holder mechanism that will hold the lead firmly in place.  The lead position can be adjusted with the push of the cap.  The cap also has a built in lead sharpener so you will always have a sharp point.  The finish is a 10k Gold and will continue to look good for years to come.  The wood is a beautiful, Brown dyed Boxelder Burl.  It has been finished and polished by hand to a smooth, glass like finish.

There are more than 20 steps involved in making a finished pen or pencil. I use more than forty different types of woods and materials from around the world.

With daily use, your pencil will darken.  To clean and restore the gloss, simply buff with a high quality furniture wax.  I use Renaissance Wax.
