In this auction we offer:
A fine signed HUY, LISIEUX majolica art pottery plaque. I find it confusing as HUY is a province in Belgium, and Lisieux is in France. Possibly, this company was/is in both countries selling their pottery.
Can be used as plaque (hanger in back), as well as a tile or trivet.
Sgraffito etched crane or egret decoration in the marshy waters, with bull rushes and cat tails, and then hand painted.
Rigaree style border.

Appears to have age, how old I am not sure.
This measures:
6 7/8 in. tall
6 1/2 in. wide
10 centimeters thick (appox 1/2 inch)
Condition:
There are no chips, cracks or restorations.
