My cousin brought me several boxes of children’s books that her daughter has outgrown.  There are a large number of books, many of them are Disney books, and many are in series and collections.  These books have been gently used and many are in like-new condition.  The books would be a great start or addition to your children’s libraries, or great for grandparents to have on hand when the kids come over, or perhaps a good addition to a book collection for an elementary school teacher.  Please take a look at my other items to see all of the titles available.  These books come from a smoke-free home.

This series of books came with a total of 18 storybooks plus a parents’ guide, however, I have 9 of the 18 volumes and the parents’ guide available.  Use of the parents’ guide will allow you to interact with your child with each book with details on the learning lessons of each story and fun activities that will make each book memorable for you and your child.  This series of books might be a good teaching aide if you are home schooling your children.

The summary of the story from the parents’ guide:  It’s fall, and Rabbit is not at all happy about raking the leaves that have covered his yard.  To him, fall means hard work.  When Pooh happens by, Rabbit patiently explains why the trees drop their leaves, and soon the two friends find themselves on a fall adventure.  Pooh delights in each discovery, especially a fat, round pumpkin that resembles his chubby tummy.  The two chance upon a squirrel and some lovely, shiny red apples.  By journey’s end, Pooh has shown Rabbit that fall can by fun!

This 40 page hardcover book measures: 10 ¼” x 8 ¼” x 5/16”.  This book is in excellent condition, except for slight minor wear on the top and bottom corners of the book and on the first page where it is printed “This book belongs to:” a child’s name has been written on the page.
