BIRD Peregrin Falcon, Gyrfalcon, Kite, 1848 Engraving

This is a phenomenal antique print that is over 150 years old (1848-1855).  It depicts five falcons-- a peregrine falcon, a goshawk, a kite or glead, a gyr falcon and a kestrel (female).

The print is a high quality antique engraving that was hand-painted long ago. It is hard to scan a fine engraving like this, but under a magnifying glass, you'll see amazing crisp fine etched lines and rich colors.

The paper is aged to a cream (not the red/blue color of the scan). There may be minor foxing or smuges in the margin (see scan).

The paper is of high quality so it holds the details well. The page measures 
approx. 6 x 9.75 inches, and the actual image size (without margins) is approx. 4.75 x 7.75 inches.

This is NOT a recent copy or modern reproduction, but a GENUINE item from that era.  It would look wonderful framed!
